Big fat Xero help in pandemic

Xero help during pandemic. Talk the talk, contact us! We can drop a plan, but not 3 months free like Adobe or Microsoft. Pricing going up! You absolutely can’t export receipts and attachments when you leave, except a folder bucket of mess, Xero control. If you choose this company make sure you don’t use the email receipt or attach receipt button, you must manually rename a file and keep clear records on paper or pdf yourself removing benefit
of cloud paperless accounting. When you leave them there is no way to export receipts and bills attached in any logical way or even with a linking ref to a file. Remember you need receipts and invoices for 10 years, who wants to keep paying zero after a business shuts down. Especially as price keep going up and up and all those extra developments are added cost extras now. Accountancy software is just another parasite like merchant fees for small business.

Xero is a great bit of software

Xero is a great bit of software. Started using it with not much finance experience but was straightforward to do what needs to be done.

Efficient and knowledgeable

I was very impressed with Harry's willingness and knowledge in assisting me with my problem. He provided working solutions, communicated clearly and efficiently - in summary he helped solve my problem in a timely and efficient manner. I very much appreciated his prompt responses and in getting it all resolved quickly and properly.

A new credit card had been issued and I neede to work out how to deal with it as bank feeds had stopped. The issue was rectified quickly and easily.

No help from customer support - for a few weeks

I've been trying for a few weeks to set up three bank feeds to my account. This is necessary for Xero to work properly. One feed worked first time. There have been problems with the other two.
I contacted customer service and was simply asked to go to the bank to sort the situation out.
The bank have done all they can and are telling me to contact Xero.
I have send numerous contacts through the online support and was promised a call from a Xero expert. I have not been called, despite arranging my diary around the proposed time of call.
For a small charity trying to set up an account this is not a good choice of software, because it takes a long time to set up.
It's disappointing, I don't like to leave a poor review but feel I must warn small businesses and charities because this has been a big waste of time.
